These classes are designed to teach various techniques used in the book 200 Knitted Blocks. You will be able to create gorgeous afghans and accessories with these blocks by mixing and matching to your heart's content. Each two-hour class focuses on a different technique: knit-and-purl stitch patterns, lace, cables, mitered squares, slip stitch patterns, intarsia, and fair isle. 

Required Skills:  You must know how to knit, purl, long-tail cast on, and bind off.

New Skills:  You will learn pattern reading for each technique, how to read your stitches, how to keep track of where you are in your pattern, and how to knit in your ends.

Materials:  Yarn and needles to be selected as part of the class instruction. (Feel free to bring an assortment of circular needles - size 6, 7, 8, and 9) ; the book 200 Knitted Blocks.

Format:   One, two-hour class    

Class Fee:   $25.00, plus materials.  

Cable:        Mon, April 14, 10 am; or Wed, April 23, 5 pm.
Lace:         Tues, April 22, 5 pm; or Thurs, April 24, 10 am.
K & P:       Wed, April 23, 10 am; or Tues, April 29, 5 pm.
Fair Isle:  Mon, May 5, 10 am; or Tues, May 20, 5 pm.
Slip St.:   Mon, May 19, 10 am; or Tues, May 27, 5 pm.
Intarsia:   Mon, May 26, 10 am; or Wed, May 28, 5 pm.
