Knitting a blanket can be a very simple project. The actual knitting of it, that is. What can be not-so-simple is getting started... how big should I make it, which yarn should I use, which stitch pattern to follow, what size needle, how much yarn do I need?

In this class, you will learn all the answers! Using an Ann Norling pattern, we will teach you how to design a blanket using the size, pattern and yarn gauge of your choice.

Required Skills:  You must know how to knit, purl, long-tail cast on, and bind off.

New Skills:  You will learn about gauge, pattern reading, reading your stitches, and how to design a blanket.

Materials:  Ann Norling Pattern #32, plus yarn and needles for your blanket to be selected as part of the class instruction. (Feel free to bring an assortment of circular needles - size 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10)

Format:   One, two-hour class

Class Fee:   $25.00, plus materials.

Dates:   Tues, April 15, 5 pm;
              Mon, April 21, 10 am;
